These days, there’s no shortage of web designers…or at least, people who think they can do web design. Load up craigslist and you’ll find at least a half-dozen ads, and half of them will likely be from people who don’t know how to spell, but would like to charge you $100/hour anyway. A number of others will be offering rock-bottom prices – say, $100 for a website. You might wonder how they can make any money charging that little, and the answer is simple – the “company” is likely a 16-year-old coking on a pirated copy of Dreamweaver who’d be ecstatic if he could get even one programming job. If that’s all you need, great…but what if you need a professional site done?
