Many offices especially the large ones have huge quantities of papers that are usually thrown at the end of the day or week. These papers are thrown because they have served their purpose already and it is impractical and useless to store the papers. There may be a need to throw these papers but it does not mean that the papers do not contain important information. If the papers that are thrown happen to contain important and confidential information, there is a big risk that the information will be used for the wrong reasons by deceitful individuals who intentionally took the papers. This is the primary reason why paper shredders were invented and why these machines are becoming increasingly popular for office use.
